Motorola had confirmed that it will partner with the Bullit Group to launch the brand's first ruggedized phone soon. A new leak purports to reveal some specs for this first-gen toughphone. It is now alleged to come with a 5,000mAh battery, which will sustain an aging Qualcomm processor.

Motorola had unveiled its intention to get in on the ruggedized smartphone game earlier in 2021. However, the devices in question and how they are made will not be as closely associated with the OEM as, say, the Moto G100 or G60; instead, a company called Bullitt Group has been engaged to put them together, with the appropriate branding slapped on, instead.

This means the first-gen "Motorola toughphone" might turn out looking something like the Land Rover or CAT phones, as Bullit is also responsible for these lines. Meanwhile, a new report claims to offer an insight on what the Motorola alternative might have on the inside.

This new possible leak mentions a processor that could be newer, alongside 5,000mAh in battery power, which will be replenished using a 20W charger. Should these details hold true, Motorola may now face stiff competition in its new market, currently overrun with devices on fresher, occasionally even 5G, SoCs as opposed to the Snapdragon 662 now allegedly destined for this potential entrant.
