The Nokia 7.2 is headed for the US in September 2019
The 7.2 is Nokia's first device to a triple rear camera, yet evokes the brand's classic Lumia esthetics by placing these sensors in a single circular module. It was launched at IFA 2019 with European pricing and availability information. Now, its OEM's parent company HMD Global are ready to release it to the US market.
The Nokia 7.2's increasingly popular design trend is surrounded by "light diffusing satin glass" and supported by a frame made of a "polymer...that is twice as strong as polycarbonate and half the weight of aluminium". The striking result is powered by the Snapdragon 660 and 4GB of RAM. 7.2 units sold in the US will be part of the Android One program; accordingly, they will run Android 10 in a timely manner, and will be upgraded reliably over a set part of their life.
HMD Global has announced that the Nokia 7.2 will be sold in its Charcoal colorway and its 4GB RAM/128GB fixed storage confirmation in its new market. It will become available through Amazon, Best Buy and B&H for from September 30 2019. It will start at US$349 in these stores on that date.
