Nokia is working on Android 10 for the 9 PureView. This is evidenced by the leaked build of the ROM for this phone posted to its XDA forum. This version of the OS is believed to be part of official development from the brand, and also exists for other devices such as the 7.1 and 6.1 Plus.

The Nokia 9 PureView is this HMD Global's effective flagship, in the continued absence of its 9.1 successor. Despite this, the phone remains on Android Pie (9.0). Then again, there may now be a solid indication that the OEM is developing an update for this penta-camera device. An "internal test build" of such an OS has been leaked onto the XDA forums.

This version of Android has been posted by the user hikari_calyx, who has also apparently found the same beta updates for the Nokia 7.1, 6.1 Plus, 6.1, and 7 Plus. This contributor has also composed instructions for their installation, and includes the caveat that, as very preliminary and theoretically in-house builds, there may be some bugs to be expected while running them.

These ROMs are associated with the same changelog as that for the stable update to Android 10 for the Nokia 8.1 and includes October 2019 security patch levels. It should be noted that in the case of the 9 PureView there is little user feedback for the update at present and thus few indications as to how well the leaked version of the same runs.
