The Shell RIDE SR-5B e-bike is coming soon, with a top speed of 28 mph (~45 kph) thanks to a 500 W motor. A 48 V battery provides up to 50 miles (~80 km) of range. The electric bicycle has comfort features, including 27.5-in fat tires and a front suspension fork. Two other e-bikes from the Shell RIDE range are also due to launch, the SR-3B and SR-4B.

The Shell RIDE SR-5B e-bike will soon launch, designed for commuters. The all-terrain bicycle has 27.5-in fat tires for extra grip and a rugged frame fitted with a front suspension fork for a more comfortable ride.

A 500 W motor can assist you at speeds up to 28 mph (~ 45 kph); without pedalling, the bike can reach speeds of 20 mph (~32 kph). An eight-speed Shimano gearshift and dual disc brakes are also fitted to the vehicle. The 48 V detachable battery provides up to 50 miles (~80 km) of range on a single charge. It is not yet known how much the bike weighs.

The Shell RIDE SR-5B will retail for US$1,899.99. It is currently unclear what date the e-bike will launch in the US and whether or when it will become available in other markets. The bicycle is part of the Shell RIDE e-mobility line-up, which includes a range of e-scooters and two further e-bike models.

The Shell RIDE SR-3B is the cheapest electric bicycle in the range, with a smaller 36 V battery for up to 25 miles (~40 km) of assisted range. The same 27.5-in fat tires are used on the bike, with a lower-powered 250 W motor. The Shell RIDE SR-4B e-bike has a step-through frame, equipped with the same tires, motor and battery as the SR-5B. The SR-3B will retail for US$1,199.99, and the SR-4B will cost US$1,899.99 at launch.
