Fantic ISSIMO 45 s-pedelec arrives with 40 kph top speed and 50 km range
The Fantic ISSIMO 45 is a new s-pedelec version of the ISSIMO aimed at commuters. A 500 W Bafang M600 motor provides up to 120 Nm of torque and a top speed of 40 kph (~25 mph). The motor can assist you when pedalling or power the vehicle on its own. Zero mode switches off the engine, allowing you to ride the bike without assistance.
Plus, a walk assist feature makes it easier to transport the bike on foot. The ENVIOLO Heavy Duty transmission is integrated into the rear wheel hub. A 600 Wh battery provides up to 50 km (~31 miles) range, which can be doubled with an extender. A display on the handlebar shows your speed and the pedelec’s battery level. The bike has a 180 mm front brake disc, 20 x 4-in fat tires for improved comfort and grip, and a low centre of gravity that ensures you feel stable on the vehicle.
Headlights, a mandatory license plate holder and a storage compartment come fitted to the ISSIMO 45 as standard. The award-winning design can be customized with colorful covers, including Vivid Lime and Chilli Pepper Red, and a range of accessories. The vehicle has an aluminum frame, though it is unclear how much it weighs; for context, the ISSIMO weighs 32.4 kg (~71 lbs). You can buy the Fantic ISSIMO 45 s-pedelec for €3,590 (~US$3,649).
