Reviews for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 SM-T820

70% Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Review
Source: NDTV Gadgets English
The Galaxy Tab S3 is light and easy to carry around, and could be a fun travel companion or a way to get some work done. It's much less expensive than a 10.5-inch iPad Pro with cellular data plus an Apple Pencil, but the iOS ecosystem is still more tablet-friendly. Plus, the usage experience is more polished overall with an iPad. You'll be happy with the Galaxy Tab S3 if it's a secondary or even tertiary device, and there are a number of people who can afford that kind of indulgence. If you don't need a stylus, the non-Pro iPad (2017) could serve well too.

75% Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Review

If you are looking for a tablet with a good display and good battery life, and running on Android, you can consider the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. It is a worthy contender to the iPad Pro and boasts of a slim profile and attractive design. The highlight of the device is the display and battery life, the downside is the slightly buggy software.

75% Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 review: When your greatest strength is also your biggest weakness
Source: India Today English
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is quite evenly matched with Apple's iPad Pro (2017) in almost all the departments. The only area where the iPad Pro really stands out and makes a strong case for itself over the Galaxy Tab S3 is the camera because essentially it crams in the same credentials as the iPhone 7. That is, if you're looking to take photos with your tablet. If you're looking to click reference photos and probably video call someone, the cameras on-board the Galaxy Tab S3 should get the job done. So far, so good. Question is, will that be enough?

AMD Radeon 530: Entry class dedicated graphics card with 320 or 384 shaders (depending on the used chip) and DDR3 or GDDR5 graphics memory (both with a 64 Bit bus). Both chips are used for a few years, e.g. even starting with the Radeon 8590M (28nm GCN). Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards. » Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Graphics Cards and the corresponding Benchmark List.
820 MSM8996: High-end ARM SoC with 4 CPU cores (two fast 2.15 GHz cores in a cluster and two power saving 1.6 GHz cores) and an Adreno 530 GPU. Manufactured in a 14 nm HPM process.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

The screen diagonal is used for small tablets.

Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.

» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.
0.429 kg:

This is pretty heavy for a smartphone. Usually, small tablets weigh as much.
