Samsung has unveiled the top-end Galaxy Buds 4 Pro at the February 2026 Unpacked event. These ANC wireless earbuds, compared to the non-Pro version, come with a larger speaker assembly.
When compared to the last-gen Buds 3 Pro, on the other hand, the newer wireless earbuds have a 20% larger speaker area. Samsung adds that the oscillating surface has increased while the speaker's edge thickness has reduced. These changes should lead to better low-end response.
The sound setup also has a tweeter, and the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro bring 24-bit/96 KHz audio. However, it's worth noting that the ultra-high-quality audio feature is currently exclusive to select Samsung phones, and it's not turned on by default.
In terms of the design, Samsung says that the Buds 4 Pro adopt a more minimalist design than their predecessors. As the press material highlights, the shape is based on over 10,000 simulations, and the overall design aims to offer long-term comfort and better stability.
There's the redesigned wing structure that promises a more secure fit, and the charging case looks less like an Apple AirPods Pro copy (Pro 3 curr. $229 on Amazon). As for the active noise cancellation performance, Samsung says that it has been refined, and the adaptive ANC with EQ tech can offer noise reduction with real-time analysis.
For communications, the Buds4 Pro bring Super Broadband Calls, promising higher audio bandwidth for improved clarity. Samsung has also repositioned the microphone to improve voice pickup and reduce wind interference.
Other notable highlights include up to 30 hours of battery life with the ANC turned off, Bluetooth 6.1, Bluetooth Auracast, and an IP57 dust and water-resistance rating. Pre-orders for the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro start today, February 25, 2026, in select markets with a $249 price tag, and Samsung plans to ship these early orders on March 6.
