Deal | Google's feature-packed Pixel Buds Pro 2 crashes to $169 ($60 off)

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 earbuds are months away from their second anniversary, however, there are no reports of a successor yet. Nevertheless, if you don't want to wait for the Pixel Buds Pro 3, then the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are worth considering, especially now that they are on sale.
When Google released the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in August 2024, they carried a price tag of $229, a slight increase over the $199 price of the previous generation. However, we have seen the price tag drop well below $200 multiple times. This is one of those times, and while it is not the lowest ever, it is pretty close.
For a limited time the Pixel Buds Pro 2 can be purchased for $169, which is $60 off its launch price. Interested buyers can purchase the earbuds at this price from the Google Store or on Amazon. The discount applies to all colors including the new Moonstone variant that was released last year and replaced the Wintergreen color option.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are old when compared to rivals such as the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, but they received a major update in September 2025 that added a handful of new features.
There's Adaptive Audio which dynamically adjusts the volume to keep you aware of your environment when outdoors. Google also added Loud Noise Protection which reduces the volume of sudden external loud noise such as a siren. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 also support head gestures for calls and texts just like Samsung's new premium earbuds, and owners can use Gemini Live in noisy environments.
Google's premium earbuds have a Tensor A1 chip which helps with active noise cancellation and audio output. Battery life is 8 hours with ANC on (12 hours with ANC off) and a total of 30 hours with the case (48 hours with ANC off). They also feature a low-latency gaming mode, Bluetooth Multipoint, conversation detection, and support for Google Find My. The charging case, which also features a speaker to make finding it easier, supports wired and wireless charging.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 have received praise for their AI features and battery life, and while there are several praises for their fit and comfort, there have also been complaints about them falling out. Another recurring complaint is the sound quality in comparison to rival premium earbuds and the touch controls being unresponsive.
