The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Pro in 2024 is a well-designed, lightweight laptop with a premium build and an exceptional OLED touchscreen display. It features the Intel Core Ultra 7 chip, offering strong single-core performance and balanced capabilities across tasks and games. While the speakers could be better and battery life is good but not top-tier, it still outperforms the ASUS Vivobook S15 in gaming but lags behind the ASUS Zenbook S16 in our comparison. The Galaxy Book 4 Pro is ideal for professionals seeking a sleek, portable device with a high-quality display and reliable performance for productivity and casual gaming.

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro is a premium laptop, and it is priced as such. My review unit retails for Rs 1,89,990. For the price, the laptop brings good performance, a razor-thin design and a gorgeous display to the mix. That said, it faces tough competition from HP’s Spectre x360, which offers slightly better performance and thermals under load, along with a superior webcam and top-firing speakers, making it my preferred choice between the two.

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro is an excellent laptop, especially for those, who are looking for a reliable Windows laptop with a premium build, up-to-date hardware, and great battery life, as this machine can easily deliver over seven hours of battery life (when used for tasks like web browsing and video streaming). While the lack of a dedicated GPU does hurt a bit, especially considering its Rs 1,81,990 price tag, this machine has everything that most users seek from a thin-and-light laptop.

If you like the look of Apple's MacBooks but prefer or simply require the Windows ecosystem, well, you can do a lot worse than the new Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro. Like its predecessor, the very similar Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro, it owes its overall look and feel to the MacBook. Thanks to its sleek wedge-shaped chassis, it's most similar to Apple's now defunct MacBook M1 Air in terms of design. But for features and performance it probably falls somewhere in between the newer and boxier MacBook Air 13-inch (M3) and the base model MacBook Pro 14-inch. Available in both 14-inch and 16-inch formats, this 14-inch model has both advantages and weaknesses compared to Apple's alternatives. The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro's OLED screen is a definite highlight with incredible image quality plus 120Hz refresh.

Samsung hasn't made dynamic changes to the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Pro formula, but Intel's techy progress makes this generation more ready for fun. It looks made for high-flying exec meetings, is surprisingly good for travel considering its size, yet it's now not too bad for light gaming either. You can get more substantial keyboards, beefier speakers, and some other lines are more aggressive on the value front. But this one squared up pretty well to a MacBook Air 15 – but for the same price you get a cracking OLED display, touchscreen and stylus support.

This 1st Gen Core Ultra processor has come to replace 13th generation Core chips; it has 16 cores (6 + 8 + 2) and 22 threads at its disposal. Its Performance cores, of which there are 6, run at up to 4.8 GHz while its Efficient cores, of which there are 10 (8 main cores plus 2 extra ones found in the Low Power Island) run at up to 3.8 GHz. The integrated AI Boost NPU offers two Gen 3 engines for hardware AI workload acceleration.
