Rollme has launched the GT1, a smartwatch with built-in earbuds. According to the product listing, the wearable features Bluetooth calling, local music storage, and tools to track biometrics like heart rate. However, there are several factors potential customers might want to consider before purchasing.

The Rollme GT1 is a new smartwatch featuring built-in earbuds. These are stored on the right-hand side of the watch, with one bud on either side of the crown. The product listing suggests that the 2-in-1 wearable offers many features, including Bluetooth calling, local music playback and smart notifications.

You can also use the GT1 to log exercise and track health metrics like heart rate and blood oxygen level, though the accuracy of these measurements is unclear. Rollme states that the earbuds, weighing 3g (~0.1 oz) each, have buttons with controls such as answering a call, playing music and waking a voice assistant. Further details on the earbuds, which would indicate the sound quality, are not provided. The watch has a 1.53-inch (~39 mm) AMOLED display with a 466x466 px resolution and up to 600 nits brightness. According to the company, the device’s 400 mAh battery allows it to run for up to 30 days on a single charge, though this is likely a very high estimate.

The wearable has a silicone strap and is rated as IP67 dust and water-resistant. The Rollme GT1 smartwatch is priced at $59.99 and offered in Obsidian Black and Sapphire Blue. On its website, the company says it ships from warehouses in the US, Germany, the UK and China. However, no return address is listed; customers are asked to request this via email. As an alternative model, you could consider the Huawei Watch Buds smartwatch.
