Rollme has launched a new budget-friendly smartwatch that comes with a wide range of features. The wearable is supposed to be very durable and offers location-based functions such as a simplified navigation without full-fledged maps.
Rollme has just released a brand-new smartwatch. The Rollme GT2 is now available for $69.99 at the brand’s official online store, but additional delivery charges will apply depending on the shipping address. Apparently, the GT2 smartwatch will be shipped directly from China.
According to the manufacturer, the technical specifications of its new smartwatch are decent. For instance, the GT2 has a dual-band GNSS module, which should provide fast and precise location data. This location module supports several standards including GPS, Galileo, Glonass as well as Beidou. Even though the smartwatch doesn’t have built-in maps, a traditional paper map or smartphone could be used in conjunction with the compass and altimeter.
Furthermore, the watch features a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The wearable also has physical buttons and is water-resistant up to 5 ATM, which means that the watch is suitable for swimming and snorkeling. The GT2 also meets certain military-grade standards and can withstand high temperatures and other rough conditions.
Other features include a heart rate monitor, activity tracking, and a built-in microphone and speaker for phone calls via a connected smartphone. Needless to say, the Rollme smartwatch can also track workouts and other activities.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
