Rollme unveils new R5 smart ring with 7 days of battery life
Rollme has expanded its smart ring portfolio by launching a new R5 smart ring. Rollme has subtly changed the exterior design of the R5 ring. For example, the company added some fashion work on the ring, which the predecessor lacked. It has a stainless steel construction, but there is no information on the ring’s weight and thickness, which is weird.
Rollme R5 is equipped with a smart chip. However, Rollme hasn’t mentioned a chip name on its official page. It offers all the standard health tracking features including heart rate, sleep, SpO2, body temperature, and heart rate variability monitoring. The smart ring also provides activity tracking for several sports modes such as cycling, swimming, hiking, yoga, and more. You can access all your health as well as exercise insights via Rollme’s companion app.
The R5 smart ring boasts an 18mAh battery and Rollme claims that it offers three to seven days of battery life on a single charge. This is more or less equal to the Circular’s Oura Ring Gen 3 smart ring. Furthermore, it is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, and according to the manufacturer, it easily withstand water splashes and dust. Like other smart rings such as Black Shark, the R5 doesn’t have gesture support.
The Rollme R5 smart ring is now available via Rollme’s official website for a discounted price of $79.99. The R5 is available in sizes 8, 9,10, 11, 12, and 13, and comes in dawn gold and starry black color options. Head over to the official product page of the R5 for more information.
