Rockstar Games launches official Discord server, sending fans over the moon

An official Rockstar Discord server has been quietly in operation for the past few days. Tens of thousands of fans have already been actively exchanging speculations and opinions in anticipation of GTA 6. Before gaining access to the server, particularly the grand-theft-auto-vi channel, you’ll need to answer two short questions concerning your preferred systems and choose whether you want to keep up with Events, Announcements, Giveaways and Newswire. As is almost always the case, it’s crucial to exercise caution on Discord: There are many trolls roaming the Rockstar server who purport to have seen a new trailer, only to lure unsuspecting users to shady OnlyFans pages and the like. Rockstar has enabled Slow Mode for the initial phase, allowing users to post only one new message every ten minutes.

It remains to be seen whether the Discord server will prove to be a gold mine for the latest speculations surrounding GTA 6. Perhaps Rockstar wants to use the channel as a platform to announce the next trailer. In any case, it should be a great place for GTA fans – as long as they watch out for the trolls.
