Realme 14 Pro series tipped to launch with last-gen cameras and SoC upgrade
Now that the Realme 14x is about to be unleashed, its higher-end Pro and Pro Plus (or Pro+) siblings are now thought to follow them into markets such as India without delay.
Whether the new series flagships adopt the same new IP69-rated Diamond Design as the budget 14x or not remains to be seen; however, the 14 Pro will come in new Pearl White and Suede Gray colorways, according to a new 91Mobiles leak.
The blog also asserts that the Pro has the model number RMX5056, which suggests that the RMX5050 and RMX5051 spotted in other leaks might also belong to the 14 series.
Given that the former has the same 80W SuperVOOC charging that was present in the 13 Pro+ (but missing in the 13 Pro) according to the Chinese regulator 3C, one or both of them might indeed be the 14 Pro+.
One or all of those 3 devices might have a 1/1.95-inch 50MP 3X periscope zoom and 8MP ultrawide-angle lenses to go with its 1/1.56-inch main shooter that is also 50MP: impressive rear camera specs for a mid-tier Android smartphone - or would be were they not identical to those of the 13 Pro+.
The renowned leaker Digital Chat Station hints that they will be combined with another quad-curved optical fingerprint scanner-equipped display to complete the 14 Pro series. Then again, the tipster also now backs them to launch with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset rather than the 7s Gen 2 of the 13 Pro series.
The Realme 13 Pro: now starting for just INR 22,699 (~$268) on Amazon.in.
