RG Vita: Anbernic reveals two new PS Vita-inspired gaming handhelds

Anbernic has not released its RG G01 wireless controller yet. In fact, it has not offered any indications about when it will supplement the existing RG P01 (curr. $24.98 on Amazon) with a more expensive alternative. Nonetheless, the company has started teasing two new gaming handhelds.
Anbernic's first of 2026, the RG Vita and RG Vita Pro wear their influences proudly. As their names suggest, the RG Vita and RG Vita Pro unashamedly build on the design of Sony's PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) with curved designs and full glass fronts. Not only that, but the pair ape the PS Vita's button layout and even its flat back panel.
In that sense, the RG Vita and RG Vita Pro bear more than a passing resemblance to the Ayn Odin2 Mini. Anbernic's new gaming handhelds match Ayn's with 5,000 mAh batteries, too. However, it seems that Anbernic has added two rear buttons in place of the TPU anti-slap mats found on the Odin2 Mini. Anbernic RG Vita and RG Vita Pro technical specifications remain unknown for now. More images of both Android gaming handhelds can be found below.
