PlayStation Plus subscribers are set to get 10 new games as part of the catalog for May. Sony has shared the list on the PlayStation blog along with the availability date of May 20. The most notable titles in the list are Battlefield V, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Some of these games are exclusive to the PS5 and some to the PS4.
The May catalog for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members is as follows:
- Sand Land (PS4, PS5)
- Soul Hackers 2 (PS5)
- Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition (PS4, PS5)
- Battlefield V (PS4)
- S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy (PS4, PS5)
- Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (PS4, PS5)
- Humankind (PS4, PS5)
- Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life (PS5)
- Gloomhaven Mercenaries Edition (PS4, PS5)
- Battle Engine Aquila (PS4, PS5)
Out of the aforementioned games, Battle Engine Aquila, is only available for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers.
PS Plus comes in three tiers, Essential, Extra, and Premium. A one month Essential subscription costs $10, going up to $80 for the whole year. The Extra subscription costs $15 for a month and $135 for a year. The Premium tier, which includes access to game trials, cloud streaming, and the Classics catalog, costs $18 for a month and $160 for the year.
It was recently reported that Sony is considering increasing the prices for its software and hardware, possibly including the PS5. The company has already increased the price of the console in the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. As part of the fiscal year report, Sony also expressed that moving manufacturing to the US would be an efficient strategy and that it is being considered for the future.
