Oppo Pad 5 Pro: New flagship tablet officially revealed

Two new Oppo tablets, the Pad 5 Pro and the Pad Mini, are scheduled to launch on April 21 in China. The Oppo Pad Mini will be a compact high-end tablet, while the Oppo Pad 5 Pro will succeed last year's Pad 4 Pro as the company's flagship tablet. The company has now revealed the Pad 5 Pro in three color options and multiple memory configurations.
The design language of the Oppo Pad 5 Pro appears to be similar to the Pad 4 Pro, with a pill-shaped camera housing on the rear. The Pad 5 Pro will come in three colorways, namely "Mocha Brown", "Dawn Gold", and "Monet Purple." It will be available in four memory configurations: 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB.
Expected specifications of the Oppo Pad 5 Pro
According to a leak on Weibo, the tablet may feature a large 13.2-inch LCD panel. It may feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a 13,380mAh battery with 67W fast charging. For comparison, the Pad 4 Pro featured a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a smaller 12,140mAh battery.
The tablet is said to have a thickness of 5.94mm and a weight of 672 grams. Notably, it may feature an eight-speaker setup. A previous leak indicates that the Pad 5 Pro may feature a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
