Citizen's new Super Titanium chronographs unveiled with sapphire glass in 4 colorways

The new Citizen CA4750 series officially dropped in Europe, and it is expected to be priced around €399 (an estimate based on other models in this series). It's clear that the Japanese company plans on having spec-rich watches in the lineup as well, since these new models are joining the recently launched AT2590 models and the AW1900 series. While it's easy to dismiss entry-level titanium as "cheap," Citizen uses their Super Titanium here to provide a case that is way more scratch resistant than the standard stainless steel found in this price bracket.
If you're someone who finds standard mineral glass to be a dealbreaker, this launch could be right up your alley. It is a departure from the simpler finishes of its siblings - instead, it introduces a vertical texture through the center of the dial. Because of this, the watch has a rugged, field-adjacent look that feels more "present" than a typical dress-chronograph.
The CA4750 features anti-reflective sapphire glass, which is solid for clarity and scratch prevention. Furthermore, the water resistance is increased to 10 bar (100 m), unlike the 4 watches in the AT2590 lineup. The 40 mm case is slightly thicker at 11.63 mm, with the B620 Eco-Drive movement which boasts a 270-day power reserve.
The movement allows for 1/5-second increments on the 60-minute stopwatch, which means you should get a smoother sweep for the chronograph hand. The dial is available in champagne, blue, green, and black, all featuring a bottom-screwed case back. Despite the sturdier build and the larger movement, the use of Super Titanium keeps the total weight at a manageable 91 g on the integrated bracelet.
