Citizen launches more new slim titanium watches with J810 Eco-Drive caliber

The appeal of a titanium watch often lies in the weight, or lack thereof, and the new Citizen AW1900 series is all about that. Launching alonside the new CA4750 and AT2590 lineups, these three-hand models use a thin silhouette that should easily slide under a cuff, which should make them a practical choice for an everyday office watch. The 40 mm case is crafted from Super Titanium, which is significantly lighter than stainless-steel while still offering better scratch resistance for the polished surfaces.
The series utilizes the J810 Eco-Drive caliber. This movement relies on a ring-shaped solar cell around the dial to convert light into energy, so you get a 240-day power reserve on a full charge. A discreet date window at 3 o'clock and a battery discharge indicator bundle necessary utility without cluttering the sunray dial too much. The second hands are painted in contrasting light blue or red to add a sharp focal point to the silver, black, and blue options.
With a thickness of just 9.49 mm, the AW1900 is one of the more slender entries in the current European catalog. The watch features crystal glass and is rated for 5 bar water resistance, which should be just sufficient for typical daily exposure. It comes fitted on a matching Super Titanium bracelet with a solid band construction and a safety folding buckle. The entire package weighs only 78 g.
