Oppo Pad 5 Pro: New high-end tablet detailed while outperforming Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra in early benchmarks

Oppo will be launching the Pad 5 Pro soon in China. Scheduled to arrive on April 21, the Pad 5 Pro will be joined by the smaller Pad Mini and a host of new flagship smartphones. While Oppo has already revealed various details about the Pad 5 Pro, the company is keeping some specifications close to its chest.
For instance, Oppo lists the Pad 5 Pro as being available with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage on its website. However, it has refrained from confirming other hardware specifications until earlier this week. Not only has the company revealed more details about the Pad 5 Pro, but what appears to be the same tablet has turned up on Geekbench to answer a few questions ahead of its official launch.
As expected, Oppo has equipped the Pad 5 Pro with the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset rather than the 7-core alternative found in the Find N6. As a result, the Pad 5 Pro easily outscores its foldable counterpart in multi-core workloads while matching it in single-core alternatives.
These results also see the Pad 5 Pro dispatching other recent flagship Android tablets like its predecessor, the smaller RedMagic Astra and even the massive Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (curr. $919 - refurbished on Amazon). Oppo has complemented the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with a 13,380 mAh battery and a 13.2-inch IPS display within a 5.94 mm thick housing that weighs less than 675 g. There is no word on international availability yet, though.
