The OneXPlayer G1 will be hitting the crowdfunding website Indiegogo tomorrow. As is customary, One-Netbook has confirmed key details like pricing and memory configurations ahead of schedule. In short, the OneXPlayer G1 lines up as One-Netbook's alternative to the Win Mini, which GPD is preparing to refresh with a 2025 edition.
Until now, One-Netbook had suggested that its latest release would utilise an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU found inside the OneXPlayer X1 Pro and some modern gaming laptops like the Asus TUF Gaming A14 (curr. $1,499 on Amazon). As it turns out, the OneXPlayer G1 will actually start with the older Ryzen 7 8840U, which powers multiple existing OneXPlayer devices.
However, One-Netbook has also quietly snuck in a Core Ultra 7 255H variant based on Intel's new Arrow Lake-H architecture. For reference, the Core Ultra 7 255H has 6 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores and 2 Lower Power Efficient Cores at its disposal, as well as a new Arc 140T iGPU that may prove up to 60% faster than the Arc 140V.
Nonetheless, Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 versions will start at $100 more than their Core Ultra 7 255H counterpart. The OneXPlayer G1 will be available to back on Indiegogo from 17:00 UTC tomorrow, with a free case bundled with orders placed until the same time on January 13. At launch, One-Netbook will be selling the OneXPlayer G1 at the following price points:
