There has been plenty of discourse around the Nintendo Switch 2, mostly of which was centred around its price and hardware prowess, with very little talk about what games one might get to play on the new console. Insider Gaming has now shed light on Nintendo's plans for 2025.
It will apparently commence in three phrases. The first one will kick off in June when the Nintendo Switch 2 supposedly launches. That will primarily consist of first-party launches, presumably Metroid Prime 4, PowerWash Simulator 2 and a few others. The next phase comes in October/November. This will mostly include third-party titles. Then the final phase comes at the year-end.
We should have more clarity about upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 titles on April 2, or even before that, if a recent rumour is accurate. Based on what we know about the Switch 2 so far, it should be able to run some current and last-gen games with relative ease thanks to its upgraded Nvidia GPU and DLSS-like AI upscaling tech.
