New updates arrive for the Mi A3 and Mi Mix 3 5G

Xiaomi is sending out the November security patch to its lineup and the update has now been received by owners of the Mi Mix 3 5G and Mi A3. For the Mix 3 5G, the update is going out to the European version of the device. For the Mi A3, however, it's been sent out to both the European and Global models.

The Mi Mix 3 5G has had a rather difficult time. The phone, released almost two years ago as Xiaomi's first 5G device, has been mostly ignored by the company, with owners only getting a few updates since it was launched. Yet another such update has now arrived for the device, however.

The new update for the Mi Mix 3 5G bears the designation "MIUI 12.0.2.0 PEMEUXM". It is, of course, a MIUI 12 build. The second of such, to be exact, as the Mix 3 5G received the much-awaited MIUI 12 update a while ago. The update is for the European model of the phone. It's a 503 MB download and brings the November security patch.

The Android One Mi A3 is also getting the November patch. The update is seeding to both the European and Global versions of the device, with build numbers "V11.0.10.0 QFQEUXM" and "V11.0.23.0 QFQMIXM" respectively. In typical Android One fashion, the OTAs are light, measuring in at just 33.99 MB.
