New high-end OnePlus phone leaks with 185Hz display

The OnePlus Ace 6 series is a performance-centric smartphone lineup that includes multiple devices: the standard Ace 6, Ace 6T, and Ace 6 Ultra. A new leak has now surfaced online, revealing details of the next-generation OnePlus Ace 7.
Tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the OnePlus Ace 7 may use either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (SM8850) or the SM8850Q, which is said to be a slightly toned-down variant of the chipset. For context, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is a flagship chipset based on a 3nm process and is also used in the OnePlus 15 and the OnePlus 15T (12GB/256GB curr. $647.15 on TradingShenzhen). Notably, the OnePlus Ace 7 is also tipped to feature a built-in cooling fan.
The OnePlus Ace 7 is expected to sport a 6.78-inch display with a "1.5K" resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to pack a battery of around 9,000mAh with support for 100W or 120W fast charging.
The tipster suggests that there will also be a OnePlus Ace 7 Pro model with a 50MP periscope telephoto camera using Samsung’s JN5 sensor and offering 3.5x optical zoom. So far, there are no details regarding the launch timeline. However, the OnePlus Ace 6 made its debut in October 2025 in China. Therefore, the new Ace series could launch around the same time this year.
