New Xiaomi 20000mAh 22.5W power bank launches with built-in cable and upgraded safety features

The Xiaomi 20,000mAh 22.5W Power Bank with Built-in Cable has officially launched in China. The accessory first appeared on Xiaomi Youpin back in June alongside a cheaper 10,000mAh model. Designed to meet China's 2026 national power bank standard, it brings enhanced safety features to help reduce the risk of overheating, fire, explosions, and other battery-related failures.
That said, the power bank uses two 10,000mAh battery cells with a rated energy capacity of 74Wh, according to the promo images. To that end, it can fully charge Apple's 13-inch MacBook Air M4 (53.8Wh) with some power left over. The 74Wh rating also keeps it below the 100Wh limit for carry-on batteries in the US. It is also CCC-certified for flights in China.
When it comes to charging, the power bank is said to deliver up to 22.5 W via the integrated USB-C cable. There's also an additional USB-C port and a USB-A port, allowing users to charge up to three devices simultaneously. Besides the four LED indicators that show the remaining battery level, users can also connect the power bank to a PC or laptop to view details such as the remaining capacity, battery health, and charge cycle count.
Pricing and availability
The new 20,000mAh Power Bank with Built-in Cable will officially go on sale in China on July 22 for 149 yuan (~$22), and will be available in two color options. That said, both the 20,000mAh and 10,000mAh models are already available to purchase through Xiaomi Youpin. Xiaomi has yet to announce if or when either model will launch globally.
