New Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 22.5W with integrated cable arrives sporting added battery health features
On June 4, Xiaomi updated its 10,000 mAh Pocket Edition power bank with a new version. Designed to meet China's latest portable power bank standard, the 2026 edition is a cheaper alternative to the 33 W Power Bank 10000 (Integrated Cable) that it sells globally. Xiaomi has not confirmed global availability for its new 10,000 mAh power bank yet.
In the meantime, the company has released a 20,000 mAh alternative. Dubbed the Xiaomi 20,000 mAh Power Bank with Built-in Cable (2026), the new power bank retains the peak 22.5 W output offered by its predecessor. Likewise, the 2026 edition has USB Type-A and USB Type-C inputs; Xiaomi does not include any accompanying cables, though. Instead, the power bank ships with a USB Type-C cable that cannot be removed or replaced.
In that sense, Xiaomi's 20,000 mAh Power Bank with Built-in Cable is similar to Ugreen's popular Nexode Power Bank (curr. $29 on Amazon), albeit with a lower combined power output. While Xiaomi's power bank lacks a display for showing its remaining charge level, it does feature four LEDs above its Type-C port as an alternative. Moreover, one can monitor battery health through a web app via a wired connection to a PC or laptop.
Like its 10,000 mAh counterpart, the new 20,000 mAh Power Bank with Built-in Cable contains improved heat and overcharge resistance too, in accordance with China's new power bank standards. The Xiaomi 20,000 mAh Power Bank with Built-in Cable (2026) retails for CNY 169 ($25) in China with a choice of two colours. Although international availability remains unknown for now, Xiaomi does sell the power bank's predecessor outside China.
