Vivo has announced a new round of camera upgrades for its current and former flagships. To recap, the company offered new camera features to the X300s and X300 Ultra in May. For reference, we have now reviewed the X300 Ultra to show it compares not just against its predecessor, but also the Oppo Find X9 Pro, Xiaomi 17 Ultra and the Galaxy S26 Ultra (curr. $1,178 on Amazon).
A month earlier, it introduced camera styles for the X300, X300 Pro and the older X200 Ultra in the manner of recent iPhones. Now, it has confirmed that its Blueprint Colour Palette feature should start reaching the X200, X200 Pro, X200s and the X200 Pro mini in July.
For context, Vivo debuted this first in April on the X300, X300 Pro and the X200 Ultra. Additionally, Vivo plans to add new image watermarks the following eight smartphones in August, including the X Fold5. The full list of eligible devices is as follows:
- X200
- X200 Pro
- X200 Pro mini
- X200s
- X200 Ultra
- X300
- X300 Pro
- X Fold5
Moreover, its latest imaging upgrade plan contains a feature that Vivo describes as '4K Ultra HD Live'. Also arriving in August, this feature will bring the option of viewing Live Photos in 4K for the X300, X300s, X300 Pro, X300 Ultra and the older X200 Ultra. As always, Vivo has not confirmed whether any of these new features will be available on its global version of OriginOS. Please see the images below for more details.
