New Samsung Galaxy Z foldable smartphones and Wear OS smartwatches due in Q3 2021; Galaxy S21 FE arriving in Q4 2021
According to SamMobile, Samsung still has big plans for 2021 even without the Galaxy Note series. We are not talking about the newly-announced Galaxy A52 (5G) and Galaxy A72 either, despite their impressive hardware. However, SamMobile insists that more Galaxy A devices will arrive in Q2 2021. More Galaxy M devices should be on the way, too.
It is not until Q3 2021 that Samsung returns to flagship smartphones, when it will announce its next Galaxy Z handsets. SamMobile has reinforced rumours that Samsung will reveal the Galaxy Z Flip 2 and Galaxy Z Fold 3, which are both expected to bring large improvements on the current models. The website adds that we should expect Samsung to announce new Wear OS-based smartwatches during the same quarter, thereby snubbing its in-house Tizen OS.
Moreover, SamMobile asserts that Samsung has scheduled the Galaxy S21 FE launch for Q4 2021. The company announced the Galaxy S20 FE on the cusp of Q3 and Q4 2020, so we imagine that the Galaxy S21 FE will debut sometime in October. Naturally, these timeframes could change, but SamMobile is usually a reliable source for upcoming Samsung releases.
