Last month, Lilygo released a new TTGO T-Watch, an Arduino-based smartwatch that it initially launched in 2020. Lilygo has now released another TTGO T-Watch, albeit one without the microphone included in February's model.
Confusingly, Lilygo called last month's model the V3 and the newer one the V2. Nonetheless, both models share the same ESP32 dual-core processor that includes 520 KB of SRAM, and a 1.54-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen. The smartwatch has 16 MP of QSPI flash storage and 8 MP PSRAM, too.
The TTGO T-Watch V2 adds a microSD card slot, although LilyGo has not disclosed the peak capacity that the smartwatch supports. Additionally, the TTGO T-Watch V2 contains a Quectel L76L module that supports BeiDou, GLONASS, GNSS, GPS and QZSS.
The TTGO T-Watch V2 is available to order through AliExpress. Lilygo only sells one configuration, which costs US$32.66.
