New Casio G-Shock MTG-B4000 watches coming to the UK
Casio has confirmed that the G-Shock MTG-B4000-1A and MTG-B4000-1A2 watches will be released in the UK. Plus, listings at a French retailer suggest they could roll out to other European countries. These models were rumored earlier this year and then launched in Japan at the end of May 2025.
In the UK, the Casio G-Shock MTG-B4000-1A will cost £1,199, while the MTG-B4000-1A2 will be priced at £1,219. The product pages point to a June launch, though an exact date is not provided. French retailer David et Philly has also listed both of these watches, with the MTG-B4000-1A costing €1,250 and the MTG-B4000-1A2 costing €1,350. Again, it has been suggested that these watches will be released in June, with the availability date said to be June 30th.
These Casio MTG-B4000 timepieces are radio-controlled (Multiband 6) and can connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth. They support a range of world time zones and offer features like a 1-second stopwatch, a countdown timer and a daily alarm. An LED backlight helps you to tell the time in low lighting, and a hands shift function ensures the smaller dials are not obscured by the watch hands.
The MTG-B4000-1A has a black carbon fibre and stainless steel with a resin strap. The MTG-B4000-1A2 is similar, but it has a dark grey ion-plated bezel. Both have Neobrite elements and sapphire crystal glass with an anti-reflective coating. They are Triple G Resist (Shock resistant, Centrifugal force resistant, Vibration resistant) watches with the brand’s Carbon Core Guard structure and 200 m water resistance. Plus, Tough Solar charging and a Power Saving mode help to prolong the battery life; it should run for 18 months in total darkness with power save on.
Each of these MTG-B4000 watches measures 56.6 x 45.3 x 14.4 mm (~2.2 x 1.8 x 0.6 inches) and weighs 112 g (~4.0 oz). Whether or when the Casio G-Shock MTG-B4000-1A and MTG-B4000-1A2 watches could arrive in the US remains to be seen.
