Reviews for the Motorola Moto G86 Power
Source: Gadgetguy

The price has leapt by 33% from the G85, putting the Motorola Moto G86 Power 5G out of reach for some. At $499, you’re moving out of the budget space and into the mid-range Android arena, where competition is tough – case in point, the amazing $449 Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro. That said, you can certainly see where the money went. The Moto G86 Power 5G is a major upgrade, not just in battery life but also with a better display, more rugged design, extra grunt and additional physical RAM. Plus, it has retained the most excellent cameras of its predecessor. If you can step up from the budget price range and you’re looking for a decent Android companion that won’t leave you in the lurch, the Moto G86 Power is tough to beat.

The Moto G86 Power stands out most for its combination of long battery life, a bright and crisp pOLED display, and a design that feels better in hand than its size and weight suggest. The Pantone colour options and faux leather finish give it a premium edge, while IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD 810H certification add practical durability. The battery easily handles heavy use, and the display’s high brightness ensures it remains legible at all times. In daily performance, the Dimensity 7400 keeps things smooth, and Motorola’s near-stock Android 15 interface remains clean and bloat-free. But there are areas where the G86 Power feels behind. Camera consistency drops on the ultrawide and in challenging light, and Samsung still does a better job with colour accuracy and portraits.
