The upgrades that we've seen in the Armor 29 Pro compared with the 28 series are impressive, with improved battery life that has almost doubled in capacity, upgrade to Android 15 and a more versatile LED light. It makes it a substantial improvement over the previous phone. However, with that battery capacity and those features, it does come at a substantial size and weight.

The Ulefone Armor 29 Pro Thermal, announced in August 2025, is one of the most rugged smartphones you’ll find this year. It is built like a tank with IP68/IP69K protection, drop resistance up to 1.5 meters, and MIL-STD-810H certification. At nearly 688 grams, it’s not light, but that weight comes with benefits such as a massive 21,200 mAh battery and extra durability features. Ulefone has also included a 1000-lumen flood flashlight and a warning light, making it especially handy for outdoor workers and adventurers. On the front, the phone sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1 billion colors, and peak brightness of 2200 nits, ensuring visibility even in harsh sunlight.
