It also has a decent chipset that will run your apps well and provide more than average gaming performance. The display is also quite decent and so are the cameras. The best things about this smartphone are its night vision camera and the battery. It even has wireless charging, which is usually not found in rugged smartphones. Considering the specs and features this phone has, the pricing seems quite decent. However, the phone has some cons as well like the processing and gaming power, which could have been better.

That integrated thermal camera essentially eliminates the need for a separate device or one that plugs into your smartphone, which means that it will inevitably always be with you, so you're much more likely to use it. Then there are the main and night cameras, perfect for documenting sites and work. Alongside the various imaging capabilities, the processing power, while not overwhelming, is sufficient for day-to-day tasks, essentially browsing the internet and viewing documents.

I’ve reviewed a quite a few rugged smartphones over the last year, and many of them have impressed, with each carving out its own niche—whether featuring projectors, camping lights, ultra-high-capacity batteries, or infrared capabilities. While the Ulefone Armor 28 Ultra doesn’t include a projector, it does have pretty much everything else. What really makes this rugged smartphone stand out is just how fast the processing is and how much it feels like a regular premium smartphone. Okay, it is a little bulkier and heavier, but few other smartphones can withstand the drops and harsh environments that this phone takes in stride.

The Ulefone Armor 28 Ultra is designed to deliver the best of both worlds and does so gracefully. Not to mention, this phone is essentially a brick that will work in any condition and can easily survive hard falls and drops. It’s an excellent smartphone that has no known alternative.

Shenzhen Ulefone Technology Co, Ltd is a Chinese company that specializes in manufacturing smartphones. The company was founded in 2014 and has since launched a variety of Android smartphones. However, before 2014, it was already a manufacturer for other brands (OEM).
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
ARM Mali-G57 MP2: Integrated mid range graphics card with 2 clusters. Based on the Valhall architecture.
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
ARM Mali-G77 MP9: Integrated graphics card based on the Valhall architecture. Uses 9 of the 16 possible clusters and according to ARM offers 30% better performance at 30% better efficiency compared to a Mali-G76.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
ARM Immortalis-G720 MP12: High-end graphics chip for smartphones with 12 of the 16 possible cores. Based on the new "5th Gen" architecture (successor to Valhall) including Variable Rate Shading (VRS) and Ray Racing. Compared to the G715, 15% higher performance should be possible at the same clock rates.

Helio G99: ARM based octa-core SoC with 2x big ARM Cortex-A76 cores and 6x small and power efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores. All clocked up to 2.2 GHz. Integrates a Cat-13 LTE Modem (4G) and a ARM Mali-G57 MP2 graphics card. Compared to the older Helio G96, the G99 is manufactured in the more recent 6nm process and clocks higher.
Helio G96: ARM based octa-core SoC with 2x big ARM Cortex-A76 cores and 6x small and power efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores. All clocked up to 2.05 GHz. Integrates a Cat-12 LTE Modem (4G) and a ARM Mali-G76 graphics card clocked at 950 MHz (+100 MHz versus the identical G95).

Dimensity 8020: The Dimensity 8100 is a mid range processor with an integrated 5G modem. The CPU integrates four fast ARM Cortex-A78 cores with up to 2.85 GHz and four efficient Cortex-A55 cores with up to 2 GHz.
Mediatek Dimensity 6000:
Dimensity 6300: The CPU offers a total of eight cores, which are divided into two clusters. One has two ARM Cortex-A76 performance cores with up to 2.4 GHz each, while the other has six ARM Cortex-A55 energy-saving cores with up to 2.0 GHz each. LPDDR4x RAM with 2,133 MHz can be used as RAM and UFS 2.2 is supported as internal memory. The Dimensity 6300 is very similar to the old Dimensity 6080.
Mediatek Dimensity 9000:
Dimensity 9300+: The Dimensity 9300+ is a high-end processor with an integrated 5G modem. The CPU section integrates a fast ARM Cortex-X4 core with up to 3.4 GHz, three lower clocked X4 cores with up to 2.9 GHz and four smaller Cortex-A520 cores with up to 2 GHz.
