Reviews for the Motorola Edge 20 Lite
Motorola's Edge 20 Lite is an interesting mid-range phone on paper. The cheapest smartphone in the Edge 20 series has some features from the Edge 20 Pro, but the spec sheet belies some shortcomings.

The Moto Edge 20 Lite is a curious smartphone. While it has an attractive list of specifications, the competition completely outclasses it in terms of both performance and value. Despite this, it has a great screen, strong battery life and a useful user interface that lends it a strong sense of personality. Though it is let down by its cameras, the lack of stereo speakers and sometimes plodding performance, this is a charming handset to use. Though it won’t be the best pick for anyone in particular, for many people it will be just enough.

Creating a successful mid-range smartphone has never been an easy task. On the one hand, the current budget smartphones have more and more ambitions, on the other hand, the mid-price segment is one of the most competitive. If you were to compare the smartphones that belong to it, based solely on the specs, then the Motorola Edge 20 Lite would be easily outclassed by its rivals. There will always be more efficient models, with better cameras, with a better screen or more interesting equipment (e.g. realme GT Master, One Plus Nord 2, Poco F3 et al.). However, given the full package, Edge 20 Lite is a successful smartphone that has a lot to offer - as long as photographic opportunities aren't your priority. It has a great screen, strong battery, 5G support, good performance and useful software devoid of unnecessary applications.

The Motorola Edge 20 Lite is a decent, reasonably affordable 5G Android phone in most respects. It has a large OLED screen, clean software and good day-to-day performance. However, it costs more than the best of the value-packed competition, the camera fumbles its dynamic range processing, and battery life is shorter than expected.

The Moto Edge 20 Lite on paper doesn’t bring as much to the table as the competition. But with a great HDR OLED screen, good battery life, strong performance and a charming software skin, it will reward anyone willing to take the plunge and pick it up. Sometimes a smartphone is all about experience, and this is one worth having.

The Motorola Edge 20 lineup is here, and the budget option of the bunch — the Edge 20 Lite — comes with a great screen, amazing battery life, good main camera performance, and a beautiful design. It fits perfectly among other options, like the Samsung Galaxy A32, Galaxy A42, and the OnePlus Nord N10. With a price tag of only € 369.99, the Edge 20 Lite is dangerously appealing. Don’t get me wrong, it definitely has its downfalls, a good example being its video shooting capabilities. However, considering the bang for your buck ratio we have here, the positives heavily outnumber the negatives. The display and main camera alone make this device a great choice for anyone on the lookout for a budget daily driver that will cover all the basics and go even beyond that.

There are three phones from the Edge 20 series and another one, Fusion, will be joining them soon. In this situation, it is very confusing which one to choose. Each phone has different features, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite offers a MediaTek Dimensity chipset for better performance. On the other hand, if you check the battery capacity, the Edge 20 Lite stays ahead of the game. If you’re into gaming, the Edge 20 Lite also delivers faster, quality performance and has a 90Hz refresh rate. Depending on your budget, each phone has the specialty of giving you the highest quality performance. If you are still confused and looking for an alternative option. With that budget, you can find the ZTE Axon 30 smartphone with better specs and performance.
