Minisforum launches new mini-PC globally with 128 GB RAM and Intel Panther Lake

Minisforum has finally shared more details about its MS-03 workstation. For context, the company presented the MS-03 at Computex 2026 in June. As we discussed at the time, MS-03 arrived alongside the M2 Pro, S5 NAS and N5 Max (curr. $2,599 on Amazon) that Minisforum had unveiled earlier in the year.
Initially, Minisforum had teased that the MS-03 would line up with an unnamed Intel Panther Lake processor. Now, it has clarified that this processor is the Core Ultra 9 386H, which combines four Cougar Cove P-Cores, eight Darkmont E-Cores and four Darkmont LP E-Cores with a 4 Xe3-core iGPU. According to our benchmarks, the Core Ultra 9 386H should help make the MS-03 significantly faster than the older MS-01 we reviewed a few years ago.
Additionally, Minisforum includes dual 10 Gigabit fibre connections via Intel's Ethernet Network Adapter X710. On top of that, the MS-03 contains 10 Gigabit and 2.5 Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet connections, three M.2 2280 slots and a PCIe x16 slot for low-profile expansion cards. Alternatively, one could expand the MS-03's capabilities via its dual USB4 ports.
Moreover, Minisforum claims that its new workstation supports up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 7,200 MT/s. The MS-03 keeps all this hardware cool with a blower-style fan and three heatpipes, which should be easy to access thanks to a tool-free and slide-out design. Minisforum has not confirmed pricing or availability yet. One can subscribe to its Australian, Canadian, EU, French, Korean, Japanese, Russian, UK and US stores for a coupon code worth an equivalent of $50.
