CES 2024 | MSI Prestige 14 AI Evo and Prestige 13 AI Evo laptops revealed with Intel Core Ultra Meteor Lake processors and plenty of ports
The MSI Prestige 14 AI Evo is now official alongside the Prestige 13 AI Evo. The laptop is part of MSI’s Prestige AI lineup which also includes the Prestige 16 AI and the Prestige 14 AI Studio. Featuring Intel’s latest Meteor Lake Core Ultra series CPUs, the MSI Prestige 14 AI Evo and 13 AI Evo are portable machines with Intel Arc graphics.
Starting with the specifications, the Prestige 14 AI Evo features up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H CPU, two M.2 slots for PCIe Gen 4 SSDs, and two SO-DIMM slots for a maximum of 64 GB of DDR5 memory. The Prestige 13 AI Evo, on the other hand, packs up to 32 GB of dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM and a single M.2 slot for a maximum of 2 TB of storage.
Furthermore, the Prestige 14 AI Evo boasts a 14-inch 16:10 FHD+ display with 100% coverage of the sRGB gamut and 144 Hz refresh rate. The Prestige 13 AI Evo can be equipped with up to a 13.3-inch OLED panel with a 2.8K resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Both laptops also carry FHD webcams with IR and Ambient Light Sensors.
When it comes to ports, the Prestige 14 AI and 13 AI are outfitted with a slew of connectors including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB Type-A port, and a single HDMI 2.1 output. Additionally, the Prestige 14 AI packs an RJ45 jack while the Prestige 13 AI rocks a microSD card reader and a Kensington Lock.
Finally, both the Prestige 14 AI and 13 AI feature Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
While we don’t have any availability information regarding the Prestige 14 AI Evo, the laptop will command a price of $1,499 for an SKU powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H CPU, 64 GB of RAM, and 2 TB of storage. The Prestige 13 AI Evo with Core Ultra 5 125H, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage is priced at $1,049.
