Logitech has released one of its most high-end webcams yet in the form of the 4K Pro Magnetic Webcam. Designed with Apple’s expensive 32-inch 6K Pro Display XDR in mind, the secure mount holds the webcam firmly in place atop your visual pride and joy.

Logitech is known for making high-quality PC and Mac peripherals and this time it is back with its most high-end webcam for a Mac yet. Designed specifically with the Apple Pro XDR display in mind, the new webcam is the Mac equivalent of its Brio Ultra HD Pro Webcam with Windows Hello support for PCs. Where the latter has a clip to attach to a monitor, the 4K Pro Magnetic Webcam uses its namesake magnets to attach to the top of Apple’s high-end 6K display. An extension cable is included in the box so it can also be used with Apple’s MacBooks while it will also attach magnetically to Apple’s iMacs.

According to Logitech, the 4K Pro Magnetic Webcam is stable enough that not only will it stay firmly in place when the monitor is raised or lowered, but it will also stay in place when a Pro XDR display user turns their monitor into portrait mode. Not only will it stay attached, it will also automatically rotate the video capture image to portrait mode as well. As you would expect, video is captured at 4K resolution at 30 fps with a field of view ranging from 90 degrees diagonally, 82.1 degrees horizontally and 52.2 degrees vertically.

The Logitech 4K Pro Magnetic Webcam is retailing for US$200 which includes free shipping for US customers.
