Lenovo reveals slim and light design of its upcoming OLED Legion gaming tablet

Lenovo has been teasing the Legion Y700 Infinite for a good while now, and with previous teasers, the company has confirmed a handful of the core specs. For those who missed it, it's set to feature an 8.4-inch OLED display with a 4,000 nits peak brightness rating and a 165Hz refresh rate.

The company has also confirmed that an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will power this OLED Legion gaming tablet, and there will be 5G support. Now, with another round of teasers, Lenovo has shared the design details of the pad.

These new teaser pictures highlight the slim and lightweight build of the Legion Y700 Infinite. Lenovo claims that the tablet is as thin as 6.5mm, which makes it thinner than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered RedMagic Astra 2. The brand adds that the display bezels measure around 2.89mm in thickness, which should lead to an immersive viewing experience.

However, compared to the Legion Tab Gen 5, the Y700 Infinite has a punch hole cutout, which can be considered a downgrade. Nonetheless, when it comes to the weight, the upcoming OLED tablet is confirmed to weigh around 298 grams (0.66lbs), making it lighter than the RedMagic Astra 2.

There's still no official word on when the OLED gaming tablet will launch, but Lenovo has confirmed that the Chinese launch will happen later in August 2026. It's also unclear whether the Legion Y700 Infinite will see a global release like the Tab Gen 5 (curr. $679.99 on Lenovo).
