Sega is launching three stylish watches inspired by retro game consoles, ranging from the Sega Mega Drive to the Sega Saturn and the Sega Dreamcast. The watches, with their lovingly designed dials and metal bracelets, are now available for pre-order.

Sega has teamed up with Japanese fashion and merchandise specialist SuperGroupies to develop three wristwatches inspired by classic game consoles. The designs are based on the 1988 Sega Mega Drive, also known as the Sega Genesis in some regions, the 1994 Sega Saturn, and the 1998 Sega Dreamcast.

The standout feature of all three watches is the dial, each of which is adorned with elements from the respective controllers and consoles, from the buttons and power button to the status LED. The Sega Saturn and Dreamcast logos are positioned at the 12 o’clock mark, while the Mega Drive model features more subtle lettering on the bezel. The packaging design is modeled after the box of the respective game console.

Each watch is made of stainless steel, the dial is crafted from brass and protected by mineral glass. SuperGroupies ships all three models with a stainless steel link bracelet in a matching color. The watches have a case diameter of 42 millimeters. The case is water-resistant up to 5 ATM. Inside, a Miyota 2039 quartz movement powers the watch, promising a battery life of three years with a maximum deviation of 20 seconds per month.

Pricing and availability

The SuperGroupies Sega collection is now available for pre-order in the manufacturer’s online store, with delivery expected to begin in April 2027. Each watch costs $319.99. SuperGroupies also ships internationally.
