Lenovo releases new 15-inch laptop internationally with built-in numberpad and over 18 hours battery life

A few days ago, Lenovo quietly launched a new 15-inch laptop. Listed on its PSREF website, the V15 Gen 6 AMN served as an AMD alternative to the V14 Gen 7, V15 Gen 7 and V17 Gen 7 that Lenovo recently released with Intel Wildcat Lake processors.
As we discussed at the time, Lenovo's PSREF website stated that the V15 Gen 6 AMN would receive a global release. While that has not occurred just yet, the new 15-inch laptop is now available to purchase in the Eurozone. Specifically, Lenovo has released the V15 Gen 6 AMN in Austria and Germany. The company already lists the laptop as 'coming soon' in other markets, too.

Setting that aside, the V15 Gen 6 starts at €819 (~$948) in both countries, including 20% VAT in Austria and 19% VAT in Germany. For these prices, Lenovo includes 16 GB of LPDDR5-5500 RAM, a 256 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD and a Ryzen 5 40 processor from AMD's Mendocino family. For reference, this processor performs worse in our benchmarks than the Ryzen 5 7430U that can be found in the older V15 Gen 4 ABP (curr. $499 on Amazon).
This configuration also contains the Radeon 610M, an RDNA 2-based iGPU with 2 Compute Units. In short, this iGPU will only be capable of exceeding 60 FPS in older games at 720p or 768p and low graphics settings. Additionally, Lenovo includes a 1080p and 16:9 IPS display that delivers 300 nits peak brightness, a 60 Hz refresh rate and 45% NTSC colour space coverage. Still, the laptop's 47 Wh battery is said to last over 18 hours in JEITA-BAT 3.0 at 200 nits. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
