Nvidia has already confirmed that the much-awaited RTX 50-series Blackwell-based consumer gaming GPUs will be revealed at CES 2025. And let's be honest - there is no mystery here. Moreover, it is almost a certainty that the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 will be among the first to debut as Nvidia's next-gen GPUs. Adding fuel to that fire, listings with the aforementioned GPUs have already started showing up on the interwebs.
For instance, the Acer Predator Orion 7000 lineup of gaming PC towers was recently announced to be upgraded with Intel's Arrow Lake-S CPUs. According to a recently discovered listing, a future configuration of the pre-built with the highest-end RTX 5090 GPU has been confirmed. As anticipated, the listing reveals that the GPU will sport a whopping 32 GB of faster GDDR7 memory. The system in question also boasts a Core Ultra 7 265KF CPU, but there is no doubt that more powerful CPU configurations will be available. For now, though, all eyes are on the RTX 5090 GPU. The system boasts an eye-watering €4,699 price tag after taxes, which is roughly equivalent to $5,000 - a massive bump in pricing compared to the previous generation. Cue the sticker shock, please.
Our friends at Videocardz also spotted yet another Predator Orion 7000 system, but with the leaner RTX 5080 GPU. As predicted, the GPU boasts a more modest 16 GB of GDDR7 memory. Speaking of specifications, recent leaks have repeatedly indicated that the RTX 5090 will boast a whopping 21,760 CUDA cores, and 32 GB of GDDR7 memory on a 512-bit bus, accompanied by a 600-watt TBP. The RTX 5080, on the other hand, will feature 10,752 CUDA cores with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory on a 256-bit bus and a sub-400-watt TBP. With less than a month remaining to CES 2025, we won't have to wait long to see how the RTX 50 launch unfolds. Inevitably, as more leaks and listings continue to trickle in, it's clear that the RTX 50-series is ready to steal the spotlight - and possibly our wallets.
