Laptop version of GeForce GTX 1660 Ti confirmed thanks to official Acer Predator Helios 300 listing
It has been a long wait for a mobile version of the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card, and Nvidia still hasn’t officially announced it. But unless Acer has made a huge mistake (even bigger than the one Dell made not long ago) on its product site for the Predator series of laptops, then it’s safe to say the GTX 1660 Ti (laptop) is finally coming.
The redesigned Acer Predator Helios 300 is going to be offered with some killer specs that will make gamers drool. Along with the new GTX 1660 Ti GPU, this particular SKU also has a yet-to-be-released Intel Core i7-9750H processor that has a base clock rate of 2.60 GHz. Supporting the GPU and CPU is 16 GB DDR4 RAM, a 256 GB SSD, and a 15.6-inch IPS display that delivers 1920x1080 resolution and a standard refresh rate of 144 Hz.
However, there will be numerous variants of the Predator Helios 300, as we have previously reported, that will offer twice as much RAM, increased storage options, and different products from Nvidia’s lineup (including the RTX 2070 Max-Q). But thanks to Acer, we can now be sure that one of those mobile GPU options will be the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti with 6 GB of high-performance GDDR6 dedicated memory.
