LG has announced the prices of its new OLED TVs, ranging from the budget OLED A2 to the OLED Z2 series. Announced in January at CES 2022, the OLED TVs will begin shipping between March and June, depending on the model. While many LG TVs resemble last year's models, the company has brought Evo panels to the OLED C2 series, and has introduced HDMI 2.1 support across the entire range. Additionally, the OLED G2 series features better cooling for their brighter panels.
Moreover, this year marks the introduction of LG's 42-inch OLED panels. As we have discussed separately, the LG OLED42C24LA costs £1,399 in the UK and is already available to pre-order through John Lewis. Incidentally, LG has confirmed that the OLED42C24LA will ship in March too, as John Lewis had previously suggested. Several other OLED C2 series TVs will ship this month as well, with the remainder available in April or May.
As FlatpanelsHD notes, LG has confirmed all prices but ones for the OLED A2 77-inch and OLED G2 97-inch. For reference, all LG OLED 2022 TVs run webOS 22, an upgrade over webOS 6.0. Typically, LG does not update TVs to new operating systems, but the company has outlined what upgrades people should expect from webOS 22.
