Jackery Mars Bot: This innovative power station and solar generator is a robot with solar cells and tracking

The market for power stations is now quite diverse, with a number of products on offer from various manufacturers. At CES, Jackery is once again presenting the Mars Bot, a power station with integrated solar panels and four wheels. The capacity of the robot is more than decent, and solar energy can be utilized particularly efficiently through tracking.

Specifically, the Mars Bot efficiently tracks solar cells. To do this, it automatically recognizes at which angle sunlight is strongest, as the angle of incidence of sunlight changes over the course of the day and also over the course of the year. Jackery uses extendable solar cells, making for quite a large surface area. After all, the size of the solar area significantly influences the maximum electrical power that can be generated.

The Mars Bot weighs 70 kilograms and measures 1140 x 815 x 810 millimeters, at least according to the specifications. The maximum output power is said to be a full 3000 watts, while the maximum solar output is given as 600 watts. At a capacity of 5000 Wh, the integrated batteries can supply demanding consumers with electrical energy for long periods of time. In addition to sockets, there are also Type A and Type C USB ports.

At present, Jackery has not provided any further details regarding a release date or price. Due to the high storage capacity alone, the Mars Bot is likely to cost several thousand dollars; the Oukitel P5000, for example, is currently listed for $2399.
