Insta360 Ace Pro leaks as new action camera to rival GoPro Hero 12 Black before November 21 launch
Insta360 has started teasing new action cameras, less than a month after hands-on shots of an unreleased model surfaced on social media. So far, the company has shared a short promotional video in which cameras matching October's leak can be seen. Additionally, Insta360 has hinted that its next action cameras will feature Leica lenses, mirroring Xiaomi's smartphone partnership with the camera company.
While Insta360 has not revealed the cameras' marketing name, various leaks have already done so. For example, various certification bodies have disclosed that Insta360 has developed the Ace Pro. Based on the company's teaser video, it seems that it will launch two new models, with the other likely named simply 'Ace'.
Incidentally, it appears that Insta360 has already sent out review samples. For instance, Ben Sin has shared a brief video of 'an upcoming action camera', which he clarifies is 'NOT the DJI Pocket 3'. If his short clip is anything to go by, then Insta360's next action cameras should succeed in low-light scenes where others like the GoPro Hero 12 Black (curr. US$349 on Amazon) and DJI Osmo Pocket 3 can struggle. Insta360 will reveal new action cameras on November 21 at 13:30 UTC.
