The Long Weekend from Moment is an analogue 35mm camera that takes photos on standard 135 format film, giving users a wide choice of film, ranging from classic black & white films, popular color films such as Kodak Ultramax to films for more special looks such as Cinestill 800.
The camera comes in retro-look plastic housing that could hardly be simpler - the back can be opened to change the film, the shutter release and the crank for rewinding the film can be seen on the top, and there are no adjustment dials or other buttons. The camera has a simple optical viewfinder for viewing the frame that will be captured in the photo, as well as a flash that takes 10 to 15 seconds to charge.
Optional settings are lacking, as the camera always takes photos at a shutter speed of 1/120, the lens aperture is fixed at f/9, whereby the depth of field covers all objects from a distance of one meter, so there is no need for focus. This simplifies operation, but takes away a lot of creative freedom for photographers. The 31 mm lens uses plastic lenses and is visibly less sharp in the corners, as the sample photos embedded below illustrate.
