Amazon's early Black Friday deals strike again, this time discounting GoPro Hero11 and Hero12 action cameras and creator bundles. The sale puts the GoPro Hero11 Black at as little as US$299, while the GoPro Hero12 Black starts at US$349.

Despite only launching just shy of three months ago, GoPro is already discounting the Hero12 Black and its Creator Edition bundle on Amazon. For those looking for a cheaper buy, the Hero11 Black is also discounted, offering a cheaper option for a premium action camera.

The GoPro Hero12 Black introduced improved video stabilisation over the Hero11 Black, alongside HDR videos and photos, Bluetooth audio recording, extended recording times, and support for a new Max Lens mod that offers a new 177° field of view.

GoPro's latest action camera is equipped with a 1/1.9-inch, 27 MP, CMOS sensor, dual LCD displays, and a robust, waterproof housing with various mounting options. It is capable of recording 5.3K video at up to 60 fps for 70 minutes as well as capturing 27 MP images.

The standard Hero12 Black bundle packs the camera, Handler & Hand Strap 2.0, Enduro Battery, and a carrying case. The GoPro Hero12 Black Creator Edition bumps the accessories up to a Volta Battery grip/tripod, Media Mod shell — which packs a directional microphone, 3.5 mm mic port, and HDMI out — Light Mod LED light, Enduro battery, and a carrying case.

The GoPro Hero11 Black can be had as just the camera or as part of the Hero11 Black Creator Bundle, which features all the same add-ons as listed above for the Hero12 Black Creator Edition. The Hero11 Black has the same 1/1.9-inch, 27 MP sensor, but lacks the video and photo HDR, which means bright scenes may be a little overexposed.

Both cameras can also record 4K video at up to 120 fps and 2.7K video at 240 fps.
