After sending out the stable Android10-based EMUI 10 update to its Kirin 980-powered flagship phones and the diminutive P Smart (2019), Huawei is now setting its sights towards providing the update to last-gen Honor flagships and the Kirin 810-powered Honor 9X phones.

Huawei has sent out the stable Android 10-based EMUI 10 update to several devices, including the Mate 20 and P30 series, Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor View 20, and, rather surprisingly, the P Smart (2019). The company is now setting its sights on delivering Android 10 to its older flagships.

According to Huawei Central, Huawei has now opened the Android 10 beta program for the Honor 10 and Honor View 10. The beta program was opened in China a few days ago, but users in Europe can finally join in on the fun.

Meanwhile, Huawei has also opened the EMUI 10 beta programs for the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro. The Honor 9X phones are Honor's major mid-range releases for this generation, so it's no surprise that they'll be getting the beta relatively early. However, this is only for the Chinese market.

We're not sure when European Honor 9X models will get a beta program. For one, the Chinese Honor 9X and European models don't even have the same SoC, with Chinese models being powered by the impressive Kirin 810. Other parts of the world get the Kirin 710F variant, which is disappointing.
