While many PC accessory manufacturers sell individual keyboards and mice, some also offer combos of both devices that are designed to work together. At CES 2025, HP has announced the two new keyboard and mouse combos dubbed the HP 725 Multi-Device Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo and HP 720 Multi-Device Rechargeable Keyboard and Mouse Combo.
Both the HP 725 and HP 720 keyboard and mouse combo have supercapacitors instead of batteries that enable superfast charging. According to HP, a 3-minute charge will provide up to 2 months of usage for the keyboards and a month of use for the mice. Charging is via a USB-C port placed in front of both the keyboards and mice.
The HP 725 and HP 720 keyboard and mouse combos have support for multi-device connection. Users will be able to pair the mouse and keyboard to two devices simultaneously via Bluetooth and a third device via a 2.4GHz HP Unifying Dongle. Using dedicated keys on the keyboards, users can easily switch between connected PCs. HP also says the keyboard and mouse combos are compatible with Windows 10 and 11 (Microsoft Swift pair support), macOS, and ChromeOS.
The keyboards are full-sized with scissor keys, a dedicated number pad, 22 customizable keys, and a lifecycle of 10 million keystrokes. They also have tilt adjustment, OS auto-detection, and are spill-resistant. The mice have multi-surface tracking, a sensor resolution of up to 4000 dpi, four programmable buttons, and an advanced scroll wheel.
The HP 725 Multi-Device Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo and HP 720 Multi-Device Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo are both available to buy now on HP's website for $89.99.
