Incase has unveiled the Compact Ergonomic Keyboard designed to help workers stay injury-free by keeping the wrists straight during typing while improving productivity with a Copilot key to activate the built-in AI in Microsoft Windows 11, Office, and Edge.
Microsoft Copilot offers users many time-saving features powered by AI, such as summaries of meetings, explanations of complex topics, tips during gaming, and help with shopping. Users with a dedicated Copilot key on their keyboards can press it to bring up the Copilot AI assistant instantly.
The Compact Ergonomic Keyboard is designed with help from Microsoft, utilizing its decades of ergonomic research. The keys are split down the middle of the keyboard and angled towards each hand so that the wrists are not bent while typing. This helps reduce repetitive strain injuries (RSIs) from constant typing at work.
Despite a compact design, the Incase Compact Ergonomic Keyboard still has a cushioned palm rest with full-sized keys, so users' fingers don't feel squeezed for space. The keyboard uses Bluetooth 4.0 to connect to up to three different Windows 8.1/10/11 devices wirelessly. Two AAA batteries power the keyboard for 36 months. The keyboard measures 13 x 8.6 x 1.2 in. (33.0 x 21.8 x 3.0 cm), and the key travel is 0.05 in. (1.3 mm).
The Incase Compact Ergonomic Keyboard (SKU MI9-00001) will be available in early 2025 from the Incase website and the Incase store on Amazon for an MSRP of $119.99.
